Terms & Conditions
The following general terms and conditions apply to all bookings:
These trading terms shall be deemed to have been accepted in full by the purchaser ('Client') of goods and services by the act of placing a request and/or order for products and/or services from Kiwistyle Travel Ltd.
Agreements and contracts
All agreements and contracts for the supply of products and services are solely between Kiwistyle Travel Ltd and the Client. All agreements and contracts shall be subject solely to New Zealand law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Reservations and Payment
Once you have placed a reservation we will process this and send you a confirmation. This confirmation will detail the price, what is included in the price, the deposit required and when final payment is due.
Your booking may be cancelled if the deposit or final payment is not received by the due date.
A deposit is required to confirm your booking. This is 25% of the total price. In certain circumstances some bookings may require a larger deposit. Our confirmation of your request to book will tell you of the deposit required and when final payment is due.
Full payment is due 45 days prior to commencement of travel on Kiwistyle arrangements. In certain circumstances full payment may be required earlier. Your confirmation advice will tell you of the deposit required and when final payment is due. Generally if the booking is made within 45 days of the first itinerary date full payment will be required immediately.
Changes & Amendments
We want you to be happy with your final travel arrangements. However, changes to a finalised itinerary will be at a minimum amendment cost of NZ$100.
Any cancellations of any portion of the arrangements booked either prior to travelling or during travel should be notified by the Client to Kiwistyle Travel immediately to minimize any consequential costs. Kiwistyle Travel shall have the right to charge cancellation fees as advised on the booking confirmation. In compensation for the time and costs incurred by Kiwistyle Travel in planning your holiday, and/or making your bookings and cancellations a charge of ten percent of the value of those items cancelled in part or full shall be payable.
Unused products and services
No refund will be made for any unused products and services supplied.
It is extremely important that you take out Travel Insurance. It is essential that this insurance covers you for involuntary cancellation of your holiday including airfare(s). Special Requests and Needs
Please advise any special needs and/or requests at the time of booking. We will endeavour to meet special requests, but cannot guarantee that they will be, nor will we be responsible if any are not met. If you have any medical conditions or disabilities which may affect your travel arrangements, we need to be advised at the time of booking. If we cannot accommodate your needs/requirements, we will advise you at that time.
Passport & Visas
Please check with your travel agent or airline regarding current passport, visa and vaccination requirements. Generally vaccination certificates are not required for European, US or UK residents travelling directly to New Zealand. All travellers will require a valid passport to enter New Zealand. Visas for short term stays in NZ (i.e. less than 3 months) are not generally required for US, British and most European passport holders. Please check with your airline at time of booking as to the precise requirements and procedures for obtaining passports or visas. (It is the responsibility of the traveller to hold the above travel documents).
Air Travel & Airport Taxes
No International or Domestic air travel is included in the cost of any of the itineraries (unless stated). Air travel can be arranged through your travel agent. All prices exclude International and New Zealand departure taxes, customs and immigration fees.
Kiwistyle Travel Ltd will not be liable for personal injury or property damage resulting from acts, omissions or negligence whatsoever of Kiwistyle Travel or any operator including, but not limited to, any liability arising from delayed departure, missed carrier connections, substitutions of accommodations or of common carrier equipment, termination of service, changes in fares and rates, cancellation or double bookings of reservations or tickets or the failure of any operator.On tours including activities such as trekking, swimming and rafting, passengers accept that degrees of risk are involved and participation in these constitute no liability to Kiwistyle Travel Ltd.No client will be permitted to embark or continue on tour while their mental or physical condition is, in the opinion of any representative of Kiwistyle Travel Ltd, such as to render them incapable of caring for themselves, or whereby they become objectionable to other convoy participants, or they become a hazard to themselves or other passengers. Kiwistyle Travel Ltd will not be responsible for expenses resulting in such persons being precluded from completing the arrangements booked by Kiwistyle Travel Ltd.In the case of a booking through a travel agent, the travel agent will forward booking confirmations and other payments to Kiwistyle Travel Ltd on your behalf, but the travel agent is not Kiwistyle Travel Ltd’s agent for the purpose of receipt of monies. Receipt of booking confirmations and subsequent payments by the travel agent does not constitute receipt of those monies by Kiwistyle Travel Ltd and the travel agent has no authority expressed or implied to receive monies on behalf of Kiwistyle Travel Ltd. There is no liability on the part of Kiwistyle Travel Ltd in respect to any monies paid to the passenger's travel agent unless and until Kiwistyle Travel Ltd notifies the passenger (by way of a booking confirmation advice or payment receipt advice) that monies have been received by Kiwistyle Travel Ltd.Compensation will not be payable if Kiwistyle Travel Ltd needs to cancel or change your travel arrangements in any way for reasons of war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the control of Kiwistyle Travel Ltd.
All prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars and include New Zealand Government Good and Services Tax (GST), currently 12.5%. Currency equivalent amounts are provided for information purposes only. All prices shown are an indication only and final prices will be confirmed to you in answer to your inquiry. The amount charged to your credit card will be at the Bank exchange rate on the day and Kiwistyle Travel Ltd does not accept responsibility for any change in prices or variation of services as shown due to exchange rate fluctuations. All services and prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are valid for the specific dates indicated.
We offer a secure server for your credit card payments. Alternatively, you can phone through your credit card details to us. Kiwistyle Travel Ltd accepts the following credit cards; Visa and Mastercard. A surcharge of 1.5% applies to all credit card payments. When using Kiwistyle Travel Ltd’s Secure Payment page your credit card are recorded on file so that charges may be made to your account on the due date for final payment as advised in Kiwistyle Travel Ltd’s confirmation at time of booking.

Pay In full - Fixed Price Guarantee
The currency exchange rate for the New Zealand dollar may vary from time of booking for final payment. If payment is made in full at time of booking the cost will not vary owing to currency exchange rate. It must be noted, however, that refunds will be calculated at the currency exchange rate at the time of refund.
